I am a competitive swimmer as well as a swimming teacher. I compete at county, regional and national levels. You can read more about my swimming achievements on my about me page.
I teach weekly classes for young swimmers with Fareham Nomads.
During the Summers of 2015 and 2016 I took part in Swim Safe as a teacher on Boscombe Beach, Bournemouth. Swim Safe is a national initiative run by the ASA and the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). The aim of the programme is to teach children how to be safe in, on, and around the sea, lakes and open water. It was great fun despite the weather!
Below are some pictures of me in the water with children.
In 2019 I qualified as an RNLI lifeguard and will be working along the Bournemouth Coast during the summer.
